Invite-Only Beta

Bridge Firmware + RTI Driver

Setpoint Bridge

A locally operated ESP32 bridge that centralizes thermostat polling, state, and commands for supported Venstar, ELK M1, and RTI control environments without requiring a cloud service for normal operation.

Built for a real integration problem

The bridge was developed for a working connected-building project where Venstar thermostats needed to share useful control and status with both ELK M1 and RTI. Instead of making each control path manage the thermostats separately, the bridge provides one local point for polling, state, and commands.

The benefit becomes more meaningful as thermostat count grows. It can reduce the thermostat polling and protocol work assigned directly to an RTI processor, including older processors, while preserving practical local RTI control.

A small controller with unusual value

The current working installation uses the Waveshare ESP32-S3-RS485-CAN, an industrial-style controller with isolated RS485, Wi-Fi, wide-range DC input, and a DIN-rail enclosure. The manufacturer currently lists the controller starting below $20 before tax and shipping. Pricing and availability can change, so the current listing should be checked before ordering.

This third-party controller is purchased separately. Victory is not offering the hardware through the initial software listing.

Beta 1 is controlled and invite only

The exact Beta 1 package has completed its release and owner-acceptance gates for controlled testing with selected dealers. Access is assigned individually through a private account, and every download requires the current entitlement and acceptance of the exact Beta Terms.

This is not an open public release. Do not purchase hardware or rely on a compatibility claim based only on this preview page. Approved testers receive the release record, compatibility matrix, known limitations, installation guidance, and recovery instructions with the package.

How It Helps

One local bridge. Two control paths.

Compatibility depends on the approved Beta 1 release matrix. These capabilities describe the current controlled release.

01

Centralized local bridge

The ESP32 bridge polls supported thermostats, maintains current state, and handles commands for the connected ELK and RTI paths.

02

ELK M1 integration

The bridge uses the ELK M1XSP thermostat interface for the documented ELK connection and controls.

03

Companion RTI driver

The companion-driver architecture uses one bridge connection with as many as 16 room-assignable thermostat sources instead of duplicating the connection for every thermostat.

04

Local API operation

Normal thermostat communication stays on the installation network through the Venstar Local API without a required cloud-service path.

Beta 1 Package

More than a firmware file.

The release is compiled software with the records and documentation needed to install, verify, update, and recover it responsibly.

Beta 1 Requirements

Professional systems. Documented setup.

Exact models, versions, power, network, programming, and recovery requirements are named in the approved compatibility matrix.

  • The supported Waveshare ESP32-S3-RS485-CAN controller profile and a suitable power and network environment.
  • Supported Venstar thermostats with the required local network API enabled and reachable.
  • An ELK M1 system and M1XSP thermostat interface when ELK integration is used.
  • A compatible RTI processor and Integration Designer environment when RTI integration is used.
  • A properly planned local network and an installer familiar with the connected professional systems.

Optional Organization Branding

Standard software and custom branding are separate arrangements.

Churches, schools, businesses, institutions, and integrators may request an internal-use version with an approved identity and documentation. Redistribution requires a separate negotiated private-label agreement.
